Creamy Parmesan Fusilli
4 cups tricolour fusilli
3 T butter
2/3 cup fresh Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup fresh parsley
1 1/2 T mayo
1/2 cup whipping cream
2 cloves garlic
8 bacon slices, fried crisp and crumbled
1) Cook and Drain Pasta
2) Melt butter in saucepan. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well, and warm. Do not boil.
Toss with pasta and season with pepper.
Serve Immediately.
This is one of my favourite pastas, and it is SUPER easy to make.
I made this for dinner on Saturday.
On Saturday I had 3 egg whites for breakfast, and then a couple pieces of Thai pizza for lunch.
My snack last night was 2 peppers with dip:
I spent my Saturday running errands, watching a movie with the hubby and relaxing.
This morning the hubby made pancakes for breakfast. I dipped mine in pure maple syrup:
I had some leftover pasta for lunch, and then went to work for a while. Tomorrow the kids are back to school, and I am ready for 'em!
Dinner was at the in-laws this evening.
We had roast beef, potatoes, corn, beets and bruschetta.
Dessert was chocolate fondue with LOADS of fruit.
I have to get to bed early tonight ...
Even the teacher has trouble sleeping before the "First Day of School!"

Fusilli is one of my favorites too and pesto is hands down my favorite thing to put on pasta

it's crazy cause I still remember when you FIRST got out for summer!! Time flies!! Good luck tomorrow (or today) and show 'em who's boss. BTW my fave pasta is bowtie! I seriously think it tastes better! hahaha
I love mostacolli pasta...the thick shape holds sauce really well, love that. I typically like either meat sauce or vodka sauce.

i have the tri-color pasta in my pantry.. its the tinkyada vegetable medly pasta and its really yummy. but its probably my second fav if soba noodles can count as pasta <3

fave noodle shape used to be spiral as a kid but i dont eat pasta anymore (GF pasta is pretty nasty!) but i do eat zucchini noodle pasta from my spiralizer, that's as good as any to me!
