I grew up in a small town where sports were the emphasis and I was not athletic so I was not the least bit popular. I didn't find true friends until I went to college actually, with the exception of my cousin who was in the grade below me. In high school, I was very studious and was active in things like speech, drama, band, choir, and the National Honor Society!
