My hubby bought me a cupcake on Friday. He told me that everyone needs cake on their birthday.
I didn't eat it Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Finally last night he told me I had to eat it before it went bad. Can you believe I didn't even want it!!!?? I am not a cake person at all. If would have been a slab of bacon or a chunk of Gruyère, I would have gladly devoured it Friday night. I grudgingly ate 2 bites, and forced the rest of this lovely cupcake upon the husband:
Breakfast yesterday was really lazy. I had some rice crispies, and a glass of OJ:
Lunch was 1 cup of leftover stew, and an apple:
For dinner I made chicken in mushroom sauce, on orzo with brussels sprouts:
This morning I had 2 eggs with some homemade Irish toast:
Lunch was a turkey, lettuce, cheese, mustard, pickle, and hot pepper sandwich on rye, with an orange.
My dad took me out this evening for a belated birthday dinner.
We went to The Keg where I had ribs and a baked potato:
So now, if you had to choose ... would you pick a cupcake or bacon?

I too have a Salty tooth....but i Can't eat bacon. So, i will have to go for the Cup Cake as i luv both hot and sweet dishes....!

I am not a cake person at all either! Some people just rave and drool over the idea of cake and frankly, I could go the rest of my life without eating it. There is only one that I love: Italian Cream Cake. But even then, I haven't had it in years.
Can I just have the frosting off of the cupcake? Or a few cupcakes? I have a sweet tooth but it's a go-big-or-go-home kinda sweet tooth that doesn't really care for cake, haha...
I would pick something savory over something sweet. I am not a huge bacon person, though, so I'd have to say I'd choose cheese over a cupcake. Dessert has never been my thing!
I don't like bacon so I would choose the cupcake, but there are a lot of other savory things I'd rather have than the cupcake.

I'd take bacon and cheese over a cupcake anyday! I find that store bought ones are never THAT good anyway.
That's a really tough question. I adore bacon, but I love cupcakes too. Now if you put the two in the same dish that would be something else . . . :)

No, my tooth is usually sweet. Especially at night. But occasionally I will crave something salty also!
i had rice krispies for breakfast this morning! it had been years since i heard those things snap, crackle, and pop! so fun!
I heart cupcakes... although I like them more for the way they look, then actually eating them, lol!
I'm so much more of a salty/savoury person than a sweet one! I'd much rather have some cheese and crackers than a cupcake anyday!

hahahhaha your too funny! BACON! I not really to big on cupcakes or sweets (chocolate is a whole other subject!) But same as you.... I not big fan at all!
